NOMINATION ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND PROCESS

Nominations for the Cliff Cushman Award are accepted for individuals who have played a major role in the growth and development of sports in the State of North Dakota and have promoted sports and/or sportsmanship to the public of North Dakota through their outstanding contributions. Self-nominations will not be considered.

To submit a nomination, please complete the official nomination form below. Include any letters of recommendation/support, articles, biographies, and photos and return it to the NDSHF at 212 3rd Avenue NE, Jamestown ND 58401. You are also welcome to submit the information electronically to ndshf@daktel.com.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year. Nominations remain active for consideration by the Board of Directors for five years from the original submission. A nominee not elected after five years is dropped from active consideration. Any person nominated but not elected within that five-year window may be re-nominated and then actively considered again.

Nominees are selected for induction into the NDSHF every two years. Selected nominees must attend the induction banquet in person.
